A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING A SUBSTANTIAL CHANGE
TO FiSCAL YEAR 2001-2002 CONSOLIDATED ACTION PLAN
' STREET 1MPROVEMENT PROJECT

WHEREAS, Lynwood City Council approved the FY 2001-2002
Consolidated Action Plan on May 15, 2001, to include an allocation for street
improvements, which included the location of the improvements; and
WHEREAS, the objective of the CDBG funded street, improvements is to
improve the condition of residential streets by reconstructing pavement concrete
curbs, gutter, sidewalks and driveways. Locations of the improvement sites were
based upon HUD eligibility and deterioration determination; and
WHEREAS, a change in location sites has been requested, due to a
proposed project in ttie immediate area, that could have a negative effect on
newly reconstruction street pavement; and
WHEREAS, the change in sites would add street design reconstruction at
three new sites,~in addition, to replacing a deteriorated drainage system; and
WHEREAS, an amendment to the City's ~fiscal year 2001-2002
Consolidated Plan constitutes a Substantial Change.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, determine, order and resolve as follows.
SECTION 1. Approve and Adopt amendments to fiscal year 2001-2002
Consolidated Plans as follows• ,
~ Add street design and reconstruction to Virginia Avenue, Pope Avenue, Duncan Avenue
Reconstruct drainage system at Cortland Avenue
^ Amend FY 2001-2002 Consolidated Plan accordingly
SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its
adoption
