A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING THE ESTABLISHMENT AND
IMPLEMENTATION OF THE PERMIT FEE FOR VEHICLES
DISPLAYED FOR THE PURPOSE OF SALES

; WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood did pursuant to law,
~ conduct public hearings on 1VIay 21, 2002 and June 4, 2002 adding to the Lynwood
Municipal Code, a proposed ordinance regarding vehicles offered for sale while parked
on a public street; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood carefully considered all
documentation presented as well as oral and written communication from the public
regarding the Lynwood Municipal Code addition, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City, of Lynwood has determined that the
problem of vehicles parked on public streets and off-street facilities have brought an
inconvenience to the City; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Municipal Code, Section 7-27(d) authorizes the City
Council to set a permit fee from time to tirne; and
WHEREAS, the Permit Fee will be set at $50 00, valid for 1 hour, to be displayed
on vehicles being advertised for the purpose of sales.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the Lynwood City Council as follow:
~" Section 1. The City Council authorizes the establishment of a Permrt Fee of
~ $50.00, valid for 1 hour, to be displayed on vehicles being advertised for the purpose of
sales.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
