HomeMy Public PortalAbout1984-096Member /je/4l,e-IL) introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. RESOLUTION GRANTING CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO RMT, INC. WHEREAS, RMT, Inc., the Applicant, has applied for a conditional use permit to rennovate and operate the former Hill Liquor establish- ment at 45 Hamel Road in the City of Medina; and WHEREAS, the plans as modified and revised according to the fol- lowing conditions meets the criteria for granting a conditional use permit under the Medina Zoning Ordinance; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MEDINA, MINNESOTA, that a conditional use permit be granted to RMT, Inc. to operate the restaurant at 45 Hamel Road on real estate which is legally described on Exhibit A and attached hereto and made a part hereof by reference, subject to the following terms and conditions: 1. That the construction and operation of the restaurant shall con- form in all respects to the statutes of the State of Minnesota and Medina City Code; 2. That a parking plan shall be submitted and implemented which provides for a total of ") O parking stalls, located on two double -loaded parking corridors, said parking plan to be ap- proved by the Zoning Administrator; 3. That any parking lot constructed along the west property line maintain a ten -foot setback from the present location of the American Legion Building; 4. That a single entrance be provided on the easterly side of the property, for ingress only, and that egress therefrom be pro- vided to the parking lot; 5. That a revised landscaping plan be submitted and approved by the Zoning Administrator which provides for screening along the south property line, said screening to be installed on or be- fore June 1, 1985; 6. That all parking lot improvements be completed pursuant to standards set by the Medina City Engineer and in accordance with revised plans to be submitted; and 7. That the applicant shall enter into a development contract with a financial guarantee in the amount of $15,000.00 to guarantee that the screening be completed on or before June 1, 1985, and all other site improvements be completed prior to November 1, 1987.
