A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO SULLY-MILLER CONTRACTING CO. IN THE
~ A.MOUNT OF $296,855.00 FOR T~IE CALIFORNIA AVENUE IMPROVEMENT
"rv PROJECT, PROJECT NUMBER OS-5214, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR
~ , TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
~ ,
WHEREAS, the California Avenue, Street Improvement~Pro~ect, Pro~ect No. OS-
5214 is scheduled for completion dunng the FY 2002-2003; and
_ WHEREAS, the California Avenue, Street Irnprovement Project is funded by
~ Prop. C Funds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on July 23,.2002, and Sully-Miller
Contractmg Co was the apparent lowest bidder at $296,855.00, and ~
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessary
expenence for this type of pro~ect. `
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows: , '
Section 1. That the contract for the California Avenue Street Impro~ement
Pro~ect, Pro~ect Number OS-5214 be awarded to Sully-Miller Contractmg Co., for its low
bid of $296;855.00. -
~ Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
'~~---' between the City of Lynwood and Sully-Miller Contracting Co
~ Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
