A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE
DESIGNATION OF CERTAIN INTERSECTIONS IN
THE CITY AS MULTI-WAY STOP INTERSECTIONS
AND AUTHORIZING THE INSTALLATION .OF
TEMPORARY STOP SIGNS AT THE CROSSWALK
IN BULLIS~ ROAD IN FRONT OF CITY HALL

WHEREAS, the City Council is desirous to improve traffic safety in
areas near Will Roger, Abbott and Lynwood Middle Schools
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood as follows.
Section 1 That City Council approves the designation of the
intersections of Duncan Avenue/Elmwood Avenue, Cortland Street/Gertrude
Drive and Wright Road/Pelleur Street as multi-way stop intersections and
authorizing the City Traffic Engineer to erect the necessary stop signs
Section 2 That the City Traffic Engineer is authorized to install
temporary stop signs at the crosswalk on Bullis Road in front of City Hall
Section 3 This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20th day of
August , 2002
