We are again appealing to all the citizens of Gulf Stream to curtail
their use of potable water.
Our Comprehensive Plan is now in Tallahassee for final approval. In
order for us to comply with the provisions of the plan, we must
guarantee a continuous decrease in the use of potable (drinkable)
water until we reach a 50% reduction.
Many times people wait until the last minute before taking action on
any situation. Other times people will wait until enforcement or court
action occurs.
We do not wish to impose any sort of punative measures against any
resident at any time. However, The State of Florida is very strict in
the requirements that they have placed on your Town Government.
Please assist us by reducing your use of potable water today.
If your address is an odd number, you may water from 4:00 A.M. to
8:00 A.M. Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday. If your address is an
even number, you may water from 4:00 A.M. to 8:00 A.M. on Tuesday,
Thursday and Sunday. No watering is allowed on Fridays.
