FRANKLIN E. FLANNERY
In early October a letter was sent to all residents in Town asking
that they voluntarily reduce their outside watering to two days
per week. This request only pertains to those residents that are
using potable (drinkable) water for irrigation purposes. If you
have your own well there are no current restrictions as to the
number of days that you may water.
As we stated in our last letter the State of Florida has advised
us that our excessive use of potable water must be drastically
reduced. If we do not restrict our usage we may well be facing
severe action by the State.
We will read the water meters again during the last week in
NoT7ember and at that time we will be able to determine the amount
of voluntary compliance we have received.
If there has been no measurable decrease in the amount of water
used since our last reading we may be forced to resort to other
than voluntary measures.
Respectfully,
Franklin E. Flannery /)
