A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING STAFF TO SEND OUT
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR THE PARKING STUDIES
AT VARIOUS LOCATION CITYWIDE
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood is among the most populated city in the Los Angeles
County; and
WHEREAS, this fact has caused a lack of available street parking spaces citywide; and
WHEREAS, staff has identified specific areas in the City where the parking problem is
most severe; and
WHEREAS, paxking studies need to be conducted to evaluate parking supply and demand
and to identify mitigation measures; and
WHEREAS, these parking studies can be done more expeditiously through the use of
consultants.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LYNWOOD
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1 The City Council authorizes staff to send out request for proposals to solicit
consulting services for the parking studies.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
