HomeMy Public PortalAbout2002.162 (11-05-02)RESOLUTION NO 2002.162 , A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN, MANAGEMENT AND GENERAL EMPLOYEES' SALARY SCHEDULES AND AUTHORIZING THE RECLASSIFICATION AND Y-RATE OF IDENTIFIED INCUMBENTS :~ i `~~ WHEREAS, the C~ty Council of the Crty of Lynwood has adopted an Employee Classificahon and Position Plan and on occasion ainends the plan as needed, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood had adopted a salary resolution with salary scliedules for Management and General Einployees, and ~ WHEREAS, the City has identified a need for the position descriptions of Public Relations Assoc~ate, CDBG Technician, Deputy Director of Housing, Housing Associate, Housing Technician, Redevelopment Associate, Redevelopment Assistant, Deputy Director Burlding/Plaiming, Director of Neighborhood Preservation, Neighborhood Preservation Manager, Neighborhood Preservahon Specialist, Blocl<watch Coordination Specialist and Community Safety Manager; and WHEREAS, classification statements have been prepared and reviewed by the Personnel Board, and WHEREAS, Personnel Rules and Regulahons, Rule IV, Sechon 4 Reclassificahon, provide for an employee to be allocated to a more appropriate class when the dtrties of which have changed materially so as to necessitate reclassifications, and ~~ NOW, THEREFORE the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find, detennine, order '~ and resolve as follows Sechon 1 Amend the Employee Classification Plan, Management and General Salary Schedules to include new position descriptions effechve November 11, 2002 as follows 1) Public Relations Associate 2) CDBG Technician 3) Deputy Director of Housing 4) Housing Associate 5) Housing Technician 6) Redevelopment Associate . 7) Redevelopinent Assistant 8) Deputy Director Planning/Building 9) Pei-mit Technician 10) Director of Neighborhood Preservation 11) Neighborhood Preservahon Manager 12) Neighborhood Preservation Specialist 13) Bloclcwatch Coord~uiation Specialist 14) Community Safety Manager $3902 - $4746 47M $2294 - $2789 27G $4868 - $5928 56M. $3902 - $4746 47M $2351 - $2857 28G $3902 - $4746 47M $3307 - $4024 42G $4868 = $5928~ 56M $2351 - $2857 28G $6077 - $7400 65M $4207 - $5241 S1M $2928 - $3559 37G $2928 - $3559 37G $4307 - $5241 S 1M : -~. , ~~ STATE OF CALIFORNIA ) ) ss.
