RESOLUTION 2009-51
A RESOLUTION OF THE TOWN COUNCIL OF THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE
REQUESTING REGIONAL SURFACE TRANSPORTATION PROGRAM FUNDS
FROM THE NEVADA COUNTY TRANSPORTATION COMMISSION
WHEREAS, the Nevada County Transportation Commission allocates Regional
Surface Transportation Program (RSTP) funds to various transportation related projects
within Nevada County;
WHEREAS, these funds are allocated to NCTC annually by the State of
California and upon receipt of those funds, NCTC establishes target allocation amounts
for the Town of Truckee; and
WHEREAS, these funds will be used to offset the costs for the Truckee River
Trail Phase 3 Project (CIP 60-07-03).

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE TOWN COUNCIL OF
THE TOWN OF TRUCKEE that the Nevada County Transportation Commission is
hereby requested to allocate $95,000 in RSTP Funds to the Town of Truckee for the
Truckee River Trail Phase 3 Project (CIP 60-07-03).
The foregoing Resolution was introduced by Council Member deRyk Jones,
seconded by Council Member Anderson, at a Regular Meeting of the Truckee
Town Council, held on the 3rd day of September, 2009 and adopted by the
following vote:
AYES:
Council Member deRyk Jones, Council Member Anderson,
Council Member Green, Vice Mayor Dee, and Mayor Brown.
NOES:
None.

None.
