A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING CERTAIN SPEED
HUMPS INSTALLATION AND AUTHORIZING THE
CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO MAKE THE
NECESSARY FUNDS APPROPRIATION AND
TRANSFER
, ~ WHEREAS, the City has received repeated complaints from the property
~`- owner of 3287 Flower Street about vehicular speeding problem at the corner of
Lindbergh Avenue and Flower Street; and
WHEREAS, said speeding problem has resulted in recurring damages to
the property owner's fence, and
WHEREAS, staff has implemented various traffic safety improvement
measures including street signage and traffic enforcement; and
WHEREAS, the speeding problem still persists, and
WHEREAS, staff is suggesting that the installation of speed humps is
warranted in this situation and may be effective against the speeding problem
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Lynwood as follows
Section 1 That the City Council approves the installation of speed humps
at the corner of Lindbergh Avenue and Flower Street and the inrtiation of the Speed
Humps Installation Program.

the following funds appropriation and transfer•

Section 3 This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
