A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION
IN THE LYfdWOOD UNIFIED SCHOOL DISTRICT'S
LOS ANGELES CO~IJNTY REGIONAL OCCUPATIONAL
PROGRAM
WHEREAS, Lynwood Unified School District (LUSD) representatives have
requested that the City of ~.ynwood partner with LUSD to provide job training to
Lynwood youth, and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood's participation will include providing a job
site and job training in the fields of clerical and office administration, and
WHEREAS, the City is not expected to incur any costs relative to its
participation in the program
NOW, THEREFOR~, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows
SECTION 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to execute
an Agreement with the Lynwood Unified School District to provide work sites and
training to students participating in its Regional Occupational Program (ROP)
SECTION 2. This resolution will take effect immediately upon it adoption
