A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION
IN THE LOS ANGELES COUNTY OFFICE OF
EDUCATIOM LYNWOOD TRANSITION PROGRAM
FOR YOUTH WITH bISABILITIES
WHEREAS, Los Angeles County Office of Education representatives have
requested that the City of Lynwood~ provide career stations for Lynwood youth
with disabilities, and ~
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood's participation and responsibilities would
include providing a work site and training, and
WHEREAS, the City is not expected to incur any costs relate to its
participation in this program '
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood doe hereby
finds, proclaim, order and resolve as follows
SECTION 1 The City Manager or liis designee is authorized to execute a
pacticipation Agreement with the Los Angeles County of Education Lynwood
Transition Program
-, SECTION 2. This resolution will take effect immediately upon its adoption
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 17th day of December, 2002.
