HomeMy Public PortalAbout1985-003Member moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution and CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. is-1-3 RESOLUTION RECEIVING REPORT ON T.H.55 AND COUNTY ROAD 116 INTERSECTION IMPROVEMENTS AND CALLING FOR PUBLIC HEARING WHEREAS, pursuant to the city council's request, a report has been prepared by Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. with reference to the intersection improvements, including installation of a traffic signal, lane widening and storm sewer construction, in the vicinity of T.H.55 and County Road 116, and the report was received by the council on January 15, 1985. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of Medina, Minnesota as follows: 1. The council will consider the improvements in accordance with the report and the assessment of property within the drainage area for a portion of the cost of the storm sewer project and of property within the Hamel Urban Service Area for a portion of the cost of the street improvements. 2. Pursuant to Minn. Stat. Chapter 429, the cost of the city's share of the storm sewer project is estimated to be $ and its share of the estimated cost for the street improvements is $ . 3. A public hearing shall be held on such proposed improvements on the 19th day of February, 1985 in the council chambers at city hall at 8:00 p.m. and the clerk shall give mailed and published notice of such hearing and improvements as required by law.
