CITY OF MEDINA
RESOLUTION NO. 651-6 -.26--
RESOLUTION APPROVING SPECIFICATIONS
AND ORDERING ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS
FOR A FIRE TRUCK BODY
WHEREAS, the City of Medina desires to purchase a fire
truck body for use by the Hamel Volunteer Fire Department in
its work providing fire protection to the community; and
WHEREAS, the fire truck body must meet certain specifica-
tions in order to be compatible with existing equipment
operated by the Hamel Volunteer Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the bid process must be conducted according to
Minnesota Statutes, Section 471.345.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Medina, Minnesota as follows:
1. That the specifications for a fire truck body attached
hereto and adopted herein by reference are approved.
2. The City Clerk shall prepare and cause to be inserted
in the official newspaper an advertisement for bids
under such approved specifications. The advertisement
shall be published for days, shall state that
detailed specifications may be obtained from the City
Clerk, shall state that bids will be received by the
City Clerk until .4' ce ii .m. on ,__6razr ,2‘ , 1985,
at which time they will be publicly opened in the
Council chambers of City Hall by the City Clerk and
, will then be tabulated, and will be
considered by the City Council at 7'iC> .m. on
, 1985 in the Council chambers.
