A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE
DESIGNATION OF FERNWOOD AVENUE AND
GERTRUDE AVENUE INTERSECTION AS A FOUR-
WAY STOP INTERSECTION
WHEREAS, the City Council has requested staff to review the
traffic safety at the intersection of Fernwood Avenue and Gertrude Avenue, and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed relevant data relative to this
intersection, and
WHEREAS, this intersection is warranted to be designated as a
four-way stop intersection
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Lynwood as follows
Section 1 That City Council approves the designation of Fernwood
Avenue and Gertrude Avenue intersection as a four-way stop intersection
Section2 That the City Traffic Engineer is authorized to erect the
necessary stop signs
Section 3 This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 15th day of
January
