AUTHORIZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT WITH
CME ASSOCIATES, RE: TAX JVIAP MAINTENANCE
'VHEREAS, the Borough of Carteret is in need of professional engineering
services in regard to tax map maintenance; and
WHEREAS, CME Associates, 1460 Route 9 South, Howell, New Jersey 07731,
possesses the requisite experience and expertise to provide said services; and
'VHEREAS, CivlE Associates has submitted a proposal to provide said services
at a total cost 110t to exceed $7,500.00; and
"'HEREAS, the Mayor and the Council have reviewed said proposal; and
"'HEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be
available for said purpose.
NO''', THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and the Council of the
Borough ofCmteret, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey, as follows:
1. The proposal fro111 CME Associates for engineering services in
regard to tax map maintenance, at a total cost not to exceed
$7,500.00 is hereby approved.
2. This action is approved as an a\vard of a professional services
contract pursuant to NJ.S.A 40A:! !-5(I)(a) awarded pursuant
to the Borough's Fair and Open process as authorized by law.
3. A copy of this Resolution be forwarded to the Borough's
Purchasing Department and CME Associates.
Adopted this 20th day of September, 2007
and celtified as a tme copy of the
original on September 21, 2007.

And the Boroug:h of Carteret a municipal Corporation having its Principal Office at the
Borough Hall, 61 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey.
As per Resolution Number 07-243
THE CONTRACTOR does hereby agree to perform the following:
PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT FOR TAX MAP MAINTENANCE
NOT TO EXCEED $7,500.00.
According to the terms set forth in the Resolution.
THE BOROUGH does hereby agree to pay the Contractor the sum set fOlth in
Resolution.
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the parties hereto have hereunder set their hands and seals or
caused these presents to be signed by their proper corporate officers and their rporate
seals to be hereto affixed, the day and year written above.
