A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ACCEPTING THE MARIPOSA LN., CEDAR AVE., CORTLAND AVE., AND
LOUISE AVE. STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 05-5216,
_ AS BEING COMPLETE

~ WHEREA$, on March 19, the City Council awarded a contract to
~--- Silvia Construction, for the Mariposa Ln., Cedar Ave.,Cortland Ave., and Louise
Ave. Street Improvement Project, Project No 05-5216, funded by (CDBG) funds;
and
WHEREAS, the project started on May 13, 2002, and was
completed on November 23, 2002; and
WHEREAS, the total construction cost was $482,676.89; and
WHEREAS, staff conducted the final inspection on January 15,
2003 and found that all work has been completed satisfactorily in accordance
with the project plans and specifications
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows.
Section 1. That the City Council accepts the Mariposa Ln., Cedar
Ave.,Cortland Ave , and Louise Ave Street Improvement Project, Project No. 05-
521'6, as being complete and in accordance with contract documents.
, Section 2 This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of
February 2003
