A RESOLUTION OF THE, CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO RANCO CORPORATION IN THE AMOUNT
i'~"1 OF $213,100.00 FOR THE WOODLAWN AVE. IMPRQVEMENT PROJECT,
~' PROJECT NUMBER OS-5249, AND AUTHORIZ~NG THE MAYOR TO
~ EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT".
~WHEREAS, the Woodlawn Ave Street Improvement Project, Project No OS-
5249 is scheduled for completion during the FY 2002-2003, and
WHEREAS, the Woodlawn Ave Street Improvement Project is funded by
Traffic Congestion and Mitigation AB 2928 Funds, and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on January 15, 2003 and Ranco
Corporation was the apparent lowe"st bidder at $213,100 00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessary
experience for this type of project.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does liereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows: ~ '
Section 1. That the contract for the Woodlawn Ave. Street Improvement
j y~' Project, Project Number OS-5249, be awarded to Ranco Corporation, for its low bid of
i j $213,100 00

Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
between the City of Lynwood and Ranco Corporation.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
