A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ADOPTING A COMPREHENSNE MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING
BETWEEN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND THE LYNWOOD MANAGEMENT
BARGAINING GROUP AND SETTING FORTH ALL TERMS AND CONDITIONS
~ AFFECTING WAGES, HOURS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
WI~EREAS, collect~ve bargaining was conducted in good faith by designated
repi-esentat~ves of the C~ty of Lynwood and a bargaining team from the Lynwood
Man~agenle~lt Bargaiu~ng Group; and
WHEREAS, agreement has been reached between the designated representatives
of the City of Lynwood and t11e Lynwood Management Bargainiiig Group, and
WHEREAS, Exhibit A, the comprehensive Memorandum of Understanding.has
been agreed to by the representatives of the City of Lynwood and representatrves of the
Lynwood Manageinent Bargain~ng Grotiip' covering the pertod of July l, 2002 througl~
June 30, 2004
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Colulcil of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
detennule, order and resolve as follows.
Section 1 The coinprehensive Memorandtun of Understanding (Exhibit A),
r which rncludes all agreed upon provisions ai7d supersedes the prev~ous ineinoranduin,
between tl~e City of Lynwood and the Lynwood Management Bargaintng Group is
adopted
Section 2 That celevant resolutions or policies be prepared as necessary to reflect
the prov~siotls of tl~e attached comprehens~ve Memorandum of Unclerstaizding (Exl~ibit
A)
Sectron 3. This resolution shall becon~e effective iminediately upon ~ts adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 18thday of February , 2003
