A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ACCEPTING THE WALNUT AVE., VIRGINIA AVE., POPE AVE., DUNCAN~AVE.,
LOUISE AVE., AND CORTLAND AVE. STREET IMPROVEMENT PROJECT,
PROJECT NO. 05-5253, AS BEING COMPLETE
_ WHEREAS, the City Council awarded a contract to Bannaoun
(~ Engineers-Constructors, for the Walnut Ave., Virginia Ave., Pope Ave., Duncan
~, Ave., Louise Ave., and Cortland Ave. Street Improvement Project, Project No. 05-
-- 5253 on September 17, 2002. The project was funded by Community Development
Block Grant (CDBG) funds; and
WHEREAS, the project started on November 4, 2002, and was
completed on January 30, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the total construction .cost was $411,253.65; and
WHEREAS, staff conducted the final inspection on February 12, 2003
and found that all work has been completed satisfactorily in accordance with the
project plans and specifications. - ~
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council accepts the Walnut Ave., Virginia
Ave., Pope Ave., Duncan Ave., Louise Ave.; and Cortland Ave. Street Improvement
Project, Project No. 05-5253, as being complete and in accordance with contract
documents.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 4th day of
March , 2003.
