"A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE APPROPRIATION OF FUNDS FROM THE
UNAPPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND BALANCE IN THE AMOUNT OF FOUR
THOUSAND DOLLARS FOR STERLING CODIFIERS ONLINE SERVICES"
WHEREAS, Sterling Codifiers, Inc. has been codifying and
maintaining the City of Lynwood Municipal Code and Zoning Book since 1996.
WHEREAS, technological advancements have made it possible for
alternative methods; and
WHEREAS, Sterling can host the City Code directly to the Internet
with a link to City's web site.
WHEREAS, the total cost of our Code online would be
approximately four thousand dollars ($4,000 00).
WHEREAS, this service was not included as a part of the adopted
2002-2003 Fiscal Budget.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. The City Manager or his designee is authorized to
carryout any necessary transactions as so ordered by this resolution.
Section 2. That the fund appropriation of four thousand dollar
($4,000.00) be allocated from the unappropriated General Fund balance as
follows:
