A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE
AMENDMENT TO THE REFUSE COLLECTION
CONTRACT WITH NATIONWIDE ENVIRONMENTAL t
SERVICES AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO ~
EXECUTE THE AMENDMENT '
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood (City) and Nationwide Environmental
Services (Contractor) have entered into certain services agreement (Agreement) dated
April 1, 1998, which sets forth the terms and conditions for the refuse collection services;
and
WHEREAS, said contract expired on December 31, 2002; and
and
reasonable.
WHEREAS, Contractor has submitted a request for a contract extension;
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed Contractor's request and found that it is
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Lynwood as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the contract amendment
extending the refuse collection services contract with Nationwide Environmental
Services through December 31, 2003. ~

Section 2. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the contract
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
