CALL TO ORDER
The February 1, 2008, "Brown Bag" Work Session was convened at 12:00 P.M. by Mayor
John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Crane, Ferguson, Harvey, Klindt, Koon, Medin, Penfold, and Smith
Absent: Brown and Layton
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilman Dan Klindt will be talking a little about the recycling pilot program at the Council
meeting.
Mayor John Landwehr asked for another item under Presentations from Staff, Consultants,
and Invited Guests, item (d), to receive a report on the status of the storm debris burn site
and curbside pickup.
New Business: Mayor John Landwehr explained a bit about recent discussions which have
occurred regarding the use of the old AmerenUE building as a Visitor Center. He stated he
would be asking Council Members Monday night to let him know if they would be interested
in serving on an ad hoc committee to look at that issue.
