A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZES STAFF TO INITIATE THE REQUEST
FOR PROPOSAL~ PROCESS FOR DESIGN OF THE SENIOR
GENTER AND INITIATE THE HUD SUBSTANTIAL CHANGE
PROCESS
WHEREAS, a Senior Citizen Center is needed to provide services to the
city's senior residents, and
,
WHEREAS, excess CDBG funds will be availabie at the end of this fiscal
years to pay for the design phase, and '
WHEREAS, the Request for Proposal process is required by HUD for
professional service contracts.
IVOW, THEREFORE, the City Councii of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows: .
Section 1. That staff is authorized to initiate the Request for Proposal ~
process for design of the Senior Center.
Section 2 That staff is authorized to initiate the substantial change
process to reallocate CDBG fund to fund the design phase of the Senior Center
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption
