HomeMy Public PortalAbout1985-017Member moved its adoption: c /eV".e introduced the following resolution and CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. 85-17 RESOLUTION ORDERING FEASIBILITY REPORT ON IMPROVEMENT OF WILLOW DRIVE SOUTH OF T.H. 55 WHEREAS, it is proposed to improve Willow Drive by grading and constructing a base and asphalt surface south of T.H.55 to Pioneer Trail and to assess the benefited property for all or a portion of the cost of the improvements, pursuant to Minn. Stat. Chapter 429. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota: That the proposed improvement be referred to Bonestroo, Rosene, Anderlik & Associates, Inc. for study and that they be instructed to report to the council with all convenient speed advising the council in a preliminary way as to whether the proposed improvement is feasible and as to whether it should best be made as proposed or in connection with some other improvement, and the estimated cost of the improvement as recommended. Member // moved its adoption: introduced the following resolution and CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. t7,6- /% `Z RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY CLERK TO SUBMIT CERTAIN MATERIALS TO THE COUNTY AUDITOR REGARDING TIF DISTRICTS NOS. 1-1 AND 1-2 WHEREAS, the city council adopted TIF plans for TIF districts Nos. 1-1 and 1-2 on January 29, 1985; and WHEREAS, it is the city council's desire to forego receipt of the partial increment which would otherwise be distributed by the county auditor in 1986; and WHEREAS, it is the city council's desire to collect the first tax increment in the year 1987 and to receive increments for eight full years as allowed by Minnesota Statutes, Section 273.75, subd. 1. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota: That the city clerk is authorized and directed to submit to the Hennepin county auditor the letter and materials prepared by Ehlers and Associates, Inc. regarding collection of the first tax increments for TIF districts Nos. 1-1 and 1-2 in the year 1987.
