A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
APPROVING THE SELECTION OF CBIZ OF ORANGE FOR PREPARATION
OF A COMPREHENSIVE FIXED ASSET PROPERTY REPORT AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
VVHEREAS, the Finance & Administration Department solicited bids from
twelve firms; and
WHEREAS, only three firms submitted proposals in response to the
RFP's; and
WHEREAS, the firm of CBIZ of Orange has been selected due to its
extensive experience in local government and infrastructure valuations and the
firm's technical approach in completing the fixed assets report; and
WHEREAS, CBIZ of Orange will provide the service at a cost of $70,250;
and
WHEREAS, $50,000 was initially budgeted to cover the cost of services;
and
WHEREAS, a budget amendment of $20,250 is needed to cover the
remaining balance of the CBIZ of Orange contract.
IVOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1 o That a contract for preparation of a comprehensive fixed asset
record report be awarded to CBIZ of Orange for the amount of $70,250.
Section 2. That the following budget amendments shoutd be
appropriated to cover the balance needed for the contract:
01-4131-4220 $10,125
02-4132-4220 10,125
Total $20,250
Section 3. That the Mayor is authorized to execute the agreement
between the City of Lynwood and CBIZ of Orange
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
