Subject: Proposed Housing Production Plan
As you will recall, the Honorable Town Council had the draft Housing Production Plan
(HPP) presented at the June 26th meeting. The Planning Board held a public hearing on the
document at their meeting on July 10, 2013, and unanimously adopted the HPP. The
Honorable Town Council must also adopt the Plan before it can be submitted to DHCD for
approval by the State. I have also attached a memorandum from MAPC that briefly
describes the purpose and process for adoption of the HPP.
The HPP is scheduled for a public hearing before the Town Council at the July 16, 2013
meeting.
