business and why they want a special use permit. Daryle explained he went to the
city three weeks prior because he was told by the community that he was going to
be shut down. We he went to the city he was told he did not need anything to
conduct business on the lake. So he feels that the city he made a huge mistake.
There was a lot of arguing between the committee and guests and it was hard to
determine what was being discussed at this point. The recommendation from the
Parks and Recreation Director was to:
Issue a special use permit
Put a Guide Line on the Special Use Permit with the Agreement
Hold off on making any decisions until the Committee has enough information.
A motion was made by Scotty Davenport to table the decision until the next

Ron Rooth recommended we do a site visit, go over City Code and explain in
writing what the final decision will be.
