A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN
EASEMENT DEDICATED FOR STREET
PURPOSES AT 3309 LYNWOOD ROAD
~ c~ WHEREAS, the developer of the eight (8) new homes at the northeast corner of Lynwood
~~ Road and Lindbergh Avenue has offered the City an easement dedication for the construction of a
~ new sidewalk around the power pole in front of 3309 Lynwood Road; and
WHEREAS, said easement is necessary to bring the sidewalk at this location in
compliance with the Americans With Disability Act (ADA); and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has determined that said easement is
necessary for the convenience, welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of the City shall be served by
accepting said easement; and
WHEREAS, said easement has been analyzed and approved by the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LYNWOOD
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council accepts the dedication of said easement for street purposes
from Wilbur Owens described below:
' That portion of Lot No. 8 of Tract No. 52174, in the City of Lynwood, County of
Los Angeles, State of California, as recorded in Book 1253, Page 71-72, in the
~ office of the County Recorder of said County, more particularly described as
follows:
Beginning at southeasterly corner of Lot No. 8 of Tract Map No. 52174; thence
along the southerly line of said Lot N71°50'00"W, a distance of 38.00 feet to a
point being the true point of beginning; thence northwesterly N26°50'00"W 7.07
feet; thence N71°50'00"W along a line parallel to the southerly line of said Lot, a
distance of 4.00 feet; thence S63°10'00"W a distance of 7.07 feet to a point
located on the southerly line of said Lot; thence S71°50'00"W along said
southerly line, a distance of 14.00 feet to the true point of Beginning.

Lynwood, CA. 90262
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
