A RESOLUTION OF TFiE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AIVIENDING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN AND MANAGEMENT SALARY SCHEDUL- E9
AUTHORIZING THE RECLASSIFICATIOfV OF IDENTIFIED INCUMBENTS, AND
ADOPTING CLASSIFICATION STATEMENTS FOR CERTAIN POSITIONS
WHEREAS, the Personnel Rules and Regulations, Rule IV, Section 4 Reclassification,
`~ provides for an employee to be allocated to a more appropriate class when the duties have
~ changed materially as to necessitate reclassification; and
V1IHEREAS, the City Council has adopted an Employee Classification and Position
Plan and amended the same as needed; and
VVHEREAS, the City Council has identified the need for the inclusion of a position
description for Director of Redevelopment/Deputy Assistant Executive Director, Deputy
Director/Finance, and Deputy Director/Administrative Services where the required job
analysis has been completed and a classification statement has been prepared on that basis;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has adopted a salary resolution
with salary schedules including a Management Salary Schedule and an appropriate salary
range has been determined; and
1NHEREAS, the City has identified a need to upgrade salary levels of identified
positions. '
NOW THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF L.YNWOOD DOES
IiEREBY FIND, DETERMINE, ORDER AND RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Amend the Employee Classification and Position Plan and

Section 3. That appointments to the above positions become effect April 14,
2003.
Section 4. That the Interim City Manager or her designee is designated to
carry out any transactions that may be necessary as so ordered by this resolution.
Section 5e This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
