CALL TO ORDER
The February 29, 2008, "Brown Bag" Work Session was convened at 12:00 P.M. by Mayor
John Landwehr.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present:
Present: Brown, Crane, Ferguson (arrived at 12:05 P.M.) Harvey, Klindt, Koon,
Layton, Medin, and Penfold
Absent: Smith
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
2007 -156 (Stoneridge Village Rezoning): Councilman Kevin Brown asked to see the
correspondence which was mentioned in the minutes. City Planner Janice McMillan stated
she would provide that information.
*Councilman Kenneth Ferguson arrived at this point in the meeting
2007 -160 (Supplemental Appropriation for street chemicals): Councilman Brian Crane
stated he would like to see a breakdown of the amounts used, the costs associated, etc.
2007 -155 (Fire Apparatus Lease Program): City Administrator Steve Rasmussen
explained the financing and lease if using financial institutions instead of the leasing
company. He indicated Finance Director Steve Schlueter had visited local lending
institutions and explained how the program would be more beneficial to the city taxpayers
using the leasing company rather than traditional financing institutions.
