WHEREAS, it is the opinion of the governing
body of the City of Moab that it is in the best interests of
the City of Moab and to its mutual advantage to enter into an
Agreement pursuant to the Interlocal Cooperation Act and
Title 17, Chapter 6, Section 22, of the Utah Code Annotated,
1953, as amended, and
WHEREAS, the governing body deems it desirable
to reduce said contract and understanding to writing pursuant
to the terms thereof, and in compliance with the Interlocal
Cooperation Act aforesaid,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City
of Moab ratify and approve that certain Agreement between the
City of Moab and the Grand County Water Conservancy District,
dated the 1st day of January, A.D. 1981, pertaining to the
sale by the Grand County Water Conservancy District of culi-
nary water to the City of Moab, and the charges therefor, a
copy of which is attached hereto, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the Mayor and the
Recorder of the City of Moab be authorized to execute said
Agreement on behalf of the City of Moab.
Passed unanimously at a meeting of the Moab
