A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ACCEPTING THE SAN JOSE ST., CARLIN AVE. AND PLATT AVE.
IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 5-5253 and 5-5261, AS
BEING COMPLETE
WHEREAS, the City Council awarded a contract to Ben's Asphalt,
on October 15, 2002; and
WHEREAS, the project started on December 2, 2002, and was
completed on March 14, 2003; and
WHEREAS, the final payable construction cost is $607,265.00; and
WHEREAS, staff conducted the final inspection on March 18, 2003
and found that all work has been completed in accordance with the project plans
and specifications. -
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council accepts the San Jose St., Carlin
Ave. and Platt Ave. Improvement Project, No. 05-5253 and 5-5261, as being
complete and in accordance with contract documents.
. . Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of May ,2003.
