AUTHOmZING A PROFESSIONAL SERVICES CONTRACT
WITH APPRAISAL CONSULTANTS CORP.
\VHEREAS, the Borough of Cafteret is in need of professional appraisal services \vith
regard to real estate tax appeals within the Borough of Carteret; and
'VHEREAS, Jon Brody of Appraisal Consultants Corp., 293 Eisenhower Parkway, Suite
200, Livingston, NJ 07039 possesses the requisite training, experience and expertise to
provide said professional appraisal services; and
'VHEREAS, Jon Brody has proposed to perform the above services at a cost not to
exceed $8,812.00; and
"'HEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will be available
for the same.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the Borough
of Carterct, County of Middlesex, State of New Jersey as follows:
1. That Jon Brody of Appraisal Consultants Corp. is hereby retained as a
licensed, professional appraiser in the above referenced matter at a cost
not to exceed $8,8[2.00.
2. That this action is approved as an award of a professional services contract
pursnant to NJ.S.A. 40A:[ [-5(1)(a) in accordance with the Borough's
Fair and Open Process as authorized by law.

Borough Hall, 61 Cooke Avenue, Carteret, New Jersey.
As per Resolution Number 07-256.
THE CONTRACTOR does hereby agree to perform the following:
PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT FOR REAL ESTATE TAX APPEALS
NOT TO EXCEED $8,812.00
According to the terms set forth in the Resolution.
THE BOROUGH does hereby agree to pay the Contractor the sum set forth in
Resolution.
