A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AUTHORIZING STAFF TO"RECEIVE FROM NBCE, INC.
PROFESSIONAL ENGINEERING CONSULTING SERVICES
THROUGH A PURCHASE ORDER AGREEMENT NOT TO EXCEED
$48,000.00 AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER TO EXECUTE
THE PURCHASE ORDER AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, Professional Engmeermg Consultmg Services are needed to assist the
Engmeermg CIP Team; and
WHEREAS, NBCE, Inc. was selected to provide Professional Engineering Consultmg,
~ Services to the Engineermg CIP Team far a six month period at 16 hours per week maximum; and
WHEREAS, a contract price of $115.00 per hour was negotiated with NBCE, Inc. to
provide Professional Engmeering Consultmg Services; and
period; and
WHEREAS, staff's cost estimate for these services is $48,000.00 for the six month
WHEREAS, funds far these services will be paid out of the various CIP pro~ects.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That staff is authorized to receive from NBCE, Inc. Professional Engmeermg
Consultmg Services far the negotiated price of $ll5.00 per hour.
Section 2. That the City Manager is hereby authorized to execute the Purchase Order
Agreement between the City of Lynwood and NBCE, Inc.
Section 3. This resoluhon shall take effect immediately upon rts adoption.
