APPROVING PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT _
McMANIMON & SCOTLAND WITH REGARD
TO BOND COUNSEL SERVICES
'VHEREAS, the Borough of Carferet is in need of specialized legal services with
regard to bond counsel services; and
"'HEREAS, McManimon & S~otland possesses the requisite knowledge and
experience to provide said legal services; and
\VHEREAS, McManirnon & Scotland has submitted a proposal to provide said
bond counsel services to the Borough at a cost not to exceed $14,000.00; and
WHEREAS, the Chief Financial Officer has certified that funds are or will he
available for the payment of said professional legal services.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret, County of Middlesex State of New Jersey as follows:
1. That the proposal from McManimon & Scotland to provide
bond counsel and related services at a total cost not to exceed
$14,000.00 is hereby approved.
2. That a copy of this Resolution shall he forwarded to the
Borough's Purchasing Department.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this action is approved as an award of a
professional services contract pursuant to N.J.S.A. 40A:11-5(l)(a) in accordance
with the Borough's Fair and Open Process as authorized by law.
