AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE 2023-5,AN ORDINANCE ESTABLISHING THE SIZE OF THE DEPARTMENTS OF CITY
GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF GREENCASTLE,INDIANA,FIXING SALARIES FOR THE EMPLOYEES OF SUCH DEPARTMENTS AND
FIXING THE SALARIES OF CERTAIN OTHER APPOINTED OFFICIALS FOR THE YEAR 2024
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Greencastle that it hereby amends Ordinance 2023-5,as follows:
SECTION TWO:
Police Department
Additonal:
One on call Detective will be paid$15.00 per Friday night on call,and$25.00 per Saturday and Sunday on call,plus actual time worked.
SECTION THREE: That the Fire Department shall consist of nineteem(19)full-time members including one(1)full-time building inspector and
one(1)full-time fire inspector/safety officer plus several part-time firefighter members,and one(1)part-time clerical position.

Fire Inspector/Safety Officer $ 30.14
Part Time Chaplin $ 21.59
SECTION 9:

Utility Department Hourly Employees
Administrative Assistant $ 19.93
All other terms,conditions and salaries contained in Ordinance 2023-5 not specifically addressed herein shall remin in full force and effect.
