A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING A SUBSTANTIAL CHANGE
TO FISCAL YEAR 2002-2003 CONSOLIDATED ACTION PLAN
~ WHEREAS, the Lynwood City Council approved the FY 2002-2003
~~ Consolidated Action Plan on May 15, 2002, to include allocations for various
~ ;~ programs and projects; and
~~
WHEREAS, as a result of a mid-year review of CDBG funded activities, a
surplus in the amount of $150,000, is availabfe for CDBG efigible activities; and
WHEREAS, the current City priorities include a new senior citizen center,
which is considered a public facilities improvement project; and
WHEREAS, prior to the construction of the senior citizen center, planning
and design must be completed and can be funded with the use of CDBG funds;
and ~
WHEREAS, in order to transfer funds from HUD Administration,
Neighborhood Services and GDBG Program Income, an amendment to the City's
fiscal year 2002-2003 Consolidated Action Plan is required.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Approve and Adopt amendments to fiscal year 2002-2003
Consolidated Plans as follows: ~

Description: To plan and design a senior citizen center in the City of Lynwood.
SECTION 2. This resolution shali become effective immediately upon its
adoption.
