A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AWARDING A CONTRACT TO RANCO CORPORATION IN THE AMOUNT
OF $66,135.00 FOR THE FIRST ST. IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT
NUMBER OS-5263, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
AGREEMENT".
( , WHEREAS, the First St. Street Improvement Project, Project No. OS-5263 is
~, scheduled for completion during the FY 2002-2003; and

WHEREAS, the First St. Street Improvement Project is funded by Prop. C '
` Funds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on May 7,_ 2003 and Ranco Corporation
was the apparent lowest bidder at $66,135.00; and
- WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessary
experience for this type of project.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1~. That the contract for the First St. Street Improvement Project,
Project Number OS-5263, be awarded to Ranco Corporation, for its low bid of
$66,135.00. `

Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
between the City of Lynwood and Ranco Corporation.
,~ Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 20`" day of May 2003.
