A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE AMENDMENT TO
THE SERVICE CONTRACT AGREEMENT WITH
COMMUTER BUS LINES RELATIVE TO THE
LYNWOOD BLUE LINE SHUTTLE BUS, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE
CONTRACT AMENDMENT
WHEREAS, on June 4, 2002, the City of Lynwood (City) entered into an agreement with
Commuter Bus Lines (Contractor) which set forth the terms and conditions for the services of the
Lynwood Fixed Route Trolley System and the Blue Line Shuttle Bus; and
WHEREAS, the term of the Blue Line shuttle Bus has expired on June 30, 2002; and
WHEREAS, .City is satisfied with the services provided by Contractor and wishes to
extend said service agreement.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS: _
Section 1. The City Council approves the extension of the service contract with Commuter
Bus Lines for the Blue Line Shuttle Bus to December 31, 2006, provided that funds are available
from the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
Section 2. The compensation rate for said service shall be $50.35/hr for the period from
"January 1, 2003 through December 31, 2003. This rate shall be adjusted for the prevailing
~ Consumer Price Index increase for each subsequent year.

Section 3. The Mayor is authorized to execute the amendment to the service contract
agreement.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
