A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AWARDING
A PURCHASE ORDER AGREEMENT TO WESTERN PACIFIC SIGNAL, LLC IN THE
AMOUNT OF $74,911.00 FOR THE BATTERY BACK-UP SYSTEMS FOR TRAFFIC
SIGNALS, PROJECT NUMBER 05-5259 AND 05-5276, AND AUTHORIZING THE.
CITY MANAGER OR HER DESIGNEE TO EXECUTE THE PURCHASE ORDER
AGREEMENT ~
WHEREAS, the Battery Back-up Systems For Traffic Signals, Project Number
05-5259 and 05-5276 is scheduled for completion during the FY 2002-2003; and
WHEREAS, the Battery Back-up Systems For Traffic Signals, Project Number
05-5259 and 05-5276 is funded by CEA Grant and Traffic Signal Upgrade project; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on April 30, 2003 and Western Pacific
Signal, LLC was the only bidder at $74,911.00, and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this vendor has the necessary
experience for this type of project.,
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as foilows
Section 1. That the Purchase Order Agreement for the Battery Back-up
Systems For Traffic Signals, Project Number 05-5259 and 05-5276, be awarded to
Wesfern Pacific Signal, LLC, for its low bid of $74,911.00.
Section 2. That the City Manager or her designee is hereby authorized to
execute the purchase order agreement between the City of Lynwood and Western
Pacific Signal, LLC. , .
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption
