HomeMy Public PortalAboutEllis Landing Improvements Invitation to Bid INVITATION FOR BIDS Proposed Drainage Improvements and Shorefront Protection Ellis Landing Project, Brewster, MA Sealed bids for the Proposed Drainage Improvements and Shorefront Protection project will be received at the Town Administrator’s Office, Brewster Town Office Building, 2198 Main Street, Brewster, MA 02631, until 2:00 PM, on March 24, 2017. Bids received on time will be opened publicly and read aloud immediately thereafter in Meeting Room C. The work includes, but is not limited to, Construction of stormwater drainage improvements in Ellis Landing Road and Shorefront Protection at Ellis Landing and 51 Ca ptain Dunbar Road. The successful bidder must be able to mobilize by April 5, 2017. The successful bidder will be required to complete the entire project by May 19, 2017. MASSACHUSETTS GENERAL LAWS, CHAPTER 30, S39M, AS AMENDED TO DATE APPLIES. Contract is subject to the minimum wage rates issued by the Commissioner of Labor and Industries, in accordance with Chapter 149, Sections 26 through 27D. The successful General Bidder must furnish 100 percent (100%) Performance Bond and 100 percent (100%) Labor and Materials Bond. Each Bid must be accompanied by a bid security consisting of a CERTIFIED CHECK OR BID BOND, payable to the Owner, in the amount of 5% of the bid price. Pre-Bid conference and site visit will be held at Brewster Town Offices, 2198 Main St. Brewster, MA 02631 at 10:00am on Friday March 17, 2017. It is imperative that all prospective bidders have a representative in attendance. The Town of Brewster reserves the right to reject any and all bids should it be in the public interest to do so, or to delete or reduce the scope of any work in order to bring the cost within available funds.
