Dear Mr. Ward, Thank you for notifying the Department of your plans to do maintenance repairs on the 3 crosswalks at Lighthouse Point. The crosswalks are permitted structures and the permit allows for maintenance of the structures. The permit requires that the structures are maintained in the exact same location, dimensions, and configuration and no modifications can be made. This letter authorizes the maintenance of the 3 Lighthouse Point Dune Crosswalks. This letter is not meant to exempt the above referenced activity from future environmental laws. No equipment, materials or debris may be placed, disposed of, or stored in jurisdictional areas. Any incidental impacts associated with this project must be rectified by fully restoring areas to their pre - operational topographic and vegetative states. Any change in the use, location, dimensions, or configuration of the approved project without prior notification and approval from this office could result enforcement actions and or removal of the materials and related structures. October 30, 2007 Stonehenge Construction, Inc. has been contracted by Lighthouse Point Condominium Association to conduct maintenance repairs on boardwalks leading from Lighthouse Point property over dunes adjacent to Van Horne Street, to include: removal and replacement of damaged/rotten decking boards and handrails that will be replaced exactly equivalent to the preexisting boards, using pressure treated lumber, and hot dipped galvanized fasteners.
