PROPERTY TAX CANCELLATION .
WHEREAS, properties '>'lere sub-divided in 2005 and added
assessed values in the 2006 and 2007 tax years were applied
incorrectly on the sub-divided properties, and
WHEREAS, the tax assessor, upon finding the discrepancy has
corrected the 2007 records and has recommended that this
added assessment be remdved from the Borough's 2006 and 2007
tax records J and
WHEREAS, the tax collector has calculated the amount of taxes
to be cancelled as follows:

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the Borough
of Carteret, County of Middlesex, New Jersey, that the Tax
Collector cancel the 2006 and 2007 added taxes as set forth
in this resolution.
