A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING AN AGREEMENT BETWEEN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AND UNIVERSAL MASS MEDIA CENTER, INC. FOR THE DEVELOPMENT OF
PUBLICATIONS FEATURING THE CITY'S HOUSING, WATER AND
RECREATION SERVICES
WHEREAS, Universal Mass Media Center, Inc. desires to assist the City of
Lynwood in the publishing of positive information for the community; and
WHEREAS, Universal Mass Media Center, Inc. desires to provide training
opportunities for Lynwood residents. •
WHEREAS, the representatives of the City and Universal Mass Media Center,
Inc. have negotiated an agreement concerning the development of publications featuring
the city's Housing, Water and Recreation Services and a training program for Lynwood
residents; and
NOW THEREFORE, the Lynwood City Council does hereby resolve, order and
determine as follows:
Section 1. The Lynwood City Council does hereby authorize entering into an
agreement between the City of Lynwood and Universal Mass Media Center, Inc. for the
development and production of three (3) full color publications for the City's Housing,
Water and Recreation Services at a cost not to exceed $50,000, and the development of a
training program in connection with each of the fore mentioned publications.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED this 28t" day of July, 2003.
