JOINT FACILITIES OVERSIGHT COMMITTEE MEETING
July 27, 2017
Attendees: Winter Park Ranch: Jim Cordell, Tom Kalan, Dan Carroll, Tom Newton
Town of Fraser: Philip Vandernail, Herb Meyring, Parnell Quinn
Grand County #1: Randy Atwater, Art Ferrari, Chris Seeman
Others Present: Jim Fox, Bruce Hutchins, Jeff Durbin, Joe Fuqua, Gene Riordan, Beth
Williams, Allen Nordin, Dennis Soles
Roll call was taken and the meeting was called to order by Mayor Vandernail at 3:03 p.m.
Parnell Quinn arrived at 3:19pm.
July 27, 2017 Agenda: Tom Newton moved to approve the July 27, 2017 agenda, this motion
was seconded by Chris Seeman. Motion carried 9-0.
Minutes of June 15, 2017: Art Ferrari moved to approve the June 15, 2017 minutes as
presented; the motion was seconded by Tom Newton. Motion carried 9-0.
EQR/Capacity Study Discussion: Ron McLaughlin discussed the EQR/Capacity Study his firm
performed.
Capacity Sharing Agreement Discussion: Gene Riordan discussed how the loads are over
capacity due to I & I. If I & I is corrected then the EQR will be good and the capacity to share will
increase.
Inflow and Infiltration (I & I) Discussion: Open discussion on where each member is with I & I
and what each member has done and is doing about I & I.
Other Business & Updates: Joe Fuqua discussed getting new blowers and the request for RFPs
on the blowers. Levels of Copper, Zinc and Phosphorous were also discussed.
Scheduled the next meeting: September 21st at 3pm
Adjourn: Jim Cordell moved and Randy Atwater seconded the motion to adjourn the JFOC
meeting at 4:48pm. Motion carried 10-0. (( rr ^^
