` A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROPRIATING $34,953 OF TRANSPORTATION
DEVELOPMENT ACT, ARTICLE 3 FUNDS FOR THE
SIDEWALK RECONTRUCTION PROJECT, FY 2003-04
WHEREAS, the Transportation Development Act, Article 3(TDA) provides that 2% of
eacfi county'stotal local Transportation Fund be annually set aside and used to fund the development
of pedestrian and bicycle facilities; and
WHEREA~S," the TDA funds allocation of the City of Lynwood for FY 2003-04 is
$34,953; and
WHEREAS, staffhas identified various locations citywide where reconstruction
of sidewalk is needed; and
WHEREAS, these sidewalks are eligible for the use of said funds; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood City Council desires to continue providing safe
pedestrian facilities to its residents. ~
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of L'ynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows: -
Section 1. That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to make
the following funds transfer and appropriations:
