HomeMy Public PortalAbout1985-070Member Jaleror introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: CITY OF MEDINA RESOLUTION NO. S-5- %O RESOLUTION ACCEPTING BID FOR SEALCOATING TAMARACK DRIVE WHEREAS, pursuant to an advertisement for bids for the sealcoating of Tamarack Drive from County Road 24 to the southerly limits of the city, bids were received, opened and tabulated in accordance with law, and the following bids were received complying with the advertisement: Allied Blacktopping Co. - $18,116.25 Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. - $16,080.00; AND, WHEREAS, it appears that Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. of Buffalo, Minnesota is the lowest responsible bidder. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Medina, Minnesota as follows: 1. That the mayor and city clerk are hereby authorized and directed to enter into a contract with Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. in the name of the city of Medina for sealcoating Tamarack Drive, according to the plans and specifications therefor approved by the city council and on file in the office of the city clerk. 2. The city clerk is hereby authorized and directed to retain both bid deposits until a contract with Buffalo Bituminous, Inc. has been signed. DATED: , 1985.
