A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO APPROPRIATE AND
TRANSFER $120,000.00 OF UNAPPROPRIATED GENERAL FUND TO THE
UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK PROJECT AND AUTHORIZE THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE AN AGREEMENT FOR PROFESSIONAL ENVIRONMENTAL
CONSULTING SERVICES WITH HART CROWSER FOR THE AMOUNT OF
$98,931.00
WHEREAS, the L"os Angeles Regional Water Quality Control Board has
requested reports and testing to determine the extent of groundwater /soil
contamination, if any, at City Hall North Under Ground Tank Storage Site; and
WHEREAS, the City must comply with the Los Angeles Regional Water
Quality Control Board requests; and •
WHEREAS, Hart Crowser was selected to provide Professional
Environmental Consultant Services; and
WHEREAS, a contract price of $98,931.00, was negotiated with Hart
Crowser for Professional Environmental Consultant Services; and
Project; and
WHEREAS, funds are needed in the Under Ground Storage Tank
WHEREAS, funds are available in the Genecal Fund.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Manager or his designee is hereby authorized to
make the following fund appropriation and transfer:
From
Unappropriated General Fund
$120,00.00
To
Under Ground
Storage Tank Project,
05-5209-4220
$120,000.00
Section 2. That a contract be awarded to Hart Crowser for
Environmental Services related to the Under Ground Storage Tank Project for the
negotiated price of $98,931.00.
Section 3. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement
between the City of Lynwood and Hart Crowser.
Section 4. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
